About the position

We're looking for a Senior/Principal EHS Consultant (Seller/Doer) who is ready to play a key role in expanding our Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) consulting business. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced professional who thrives on business development, client engagement, and delivering exceptional EHS solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in EHS consulting sales, an established network in Southern California or Arizona, and a passion for building client relationships. Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive sales efforts for new and existing clients
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, maintain sales plans, and manage pipeline forecasts
  • Generate leads, coordinate meetings and proposals, and follow up to close deals
  • Maintain and leverage our CRM to track leads and monitor performance
  • Prepare compelling proposals, including accurate scope and pricing, and manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction
  • Build visibility through active involvement in life science industry events and organizations
  • Manage and lead EHS&S projects, serve as a Client Steward (Account Manager) for key accounts
  • Be recognized internally and externally as a leader due to your technical expertise, industry knowledge, and insight into the competitive landscape

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related or business field preferred; MS or MBA is a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in EHS sales/business development, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment
  • Proven success in developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and energetic
  • Demonstrated initiative in business development and client service
  • Confident in delivering senior-level presentations and negotiations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
