About The Position

Founded in 1967, The HealthCare Connection was Ohio’s first Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Our mission is to provide quality, culturally sensitive and accessible primary healthcare services. THCC is proudly recognized as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), the highest level of recognition attainable for quality care. We boast two primary care locations and 6 school-based health centers providing quality value-based care for over 20,000 patients. We provide services in Primary Care, Infectious Disease, Substance Use, Integrated Behavioral Health, Dental Services, Women’s Health, and Pharmacy. The EHR Support Analyst serves as a training and support resource for the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR). This role develops and delivers end-user training, maintains educational materials, and provides day-to-day user support to promote consistent, efficient, and standardized system use across the organization.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years’ experience supporting an electronic health record or health information system in a clinical or ambulatory setting, Epic preferred.

  • OCHIN ESA Training certificate or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain role-based Epic training curriculum and materials for clinical and front-office staff.
  • Create and update tip sheets, quick-reference guides, job aids, and workflow documentation.
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing staff.
  • Provide refresher and optimization training to improve user efficiency and adoption.
  • Provide in-person, real-time support during go-lives, upgrades, and workflow changes.
  • Respond to user questions and troubleshoot basic system and workflow issues; escalate complex issues as appropriate.
  • Translate Epic functionality and workflows into clear, practical guidance for end users.
  • Promote standardized workflows and best practices through training and documentation.
  • Assist with maintenance of approved Smart-Tools and training-related system content in accordance with organizational governance.
  • Assist with routine user access and maintenance tasks for assigned systems.
