The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an Electronic Health Records (EHR) Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Leading the review and alignment of Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with EHR compliance standards. Implementing detailed analysis and SOP cross-referencing for EHR access and documentation. Determining areas of risk, drafting recommendations, and designing approval workflows for BAA processes. Supporting daily operations and compliance through audits, training, and user support for EHR platforms. Willingness to be on-call to support urgent access or compliance needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED AND two (2) years of experience in health information management, compliance and electronic health records AND
• Four (4) years of experience managing EHR access, compliance audits, and regulatory protocols
• Experience interpreting and applying HIPAA, BAA, and PHI privacy standards
• Experience designing and updating SOPs for health information systems
• Proficiency in electronic record systems and access management platforms
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Health Information Management, Public Health, or Healthcare Compliance from an accredited institution
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Five (5) years of experience in a regulated healthcare environment (e.g., private, public, government, or military)
• Strong analytical, documentation, and process design skills
• Ability to educate and train users on compliance procedures and system best practices
