About The Position

The EHR Implementation Specialist at SunPlus Data Group, Inc. is responsible for the design, development, configuration, implementation, and support of the VADOC Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role requires technical leadership and guidance to ensure compliance with established project management and quality standards, while meeting user requirements. The position involves working closely with healthcare settings to provide technical training and support, and it is a full-time contract role based in Richmond, VA.

Requirements

• A college level degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related curriculum (related experience may substitute).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, configuring, and supporting software implementation.
• At least 2 years of experience in EHR implementation and solutions in compliance with CTSU guidelines (preferred).
• 4 years of experience with agile development methodologies.
• 3 years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management methodology.
• 1 year of experience documenting workflow for healthcare standards/implementation.

Nice To Haves

• Direct experience with system/technical configuration.
• Experience in the field of healthcare or business administration and/or electronic healthcare technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, implement, and support the VADOC EHR system.
• Ensure compliance with CTSU Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to staff.
• Assist with software design documents and diagrams.
• Customize, evaluate, configure, analyze, and document the VADOC EHR system and business workflows.
• Provide technical training and support in various healthcare settings.

Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $54 to $60 depending on employment type (W2 or 1099/C2C).
• Full-time hours with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
