About The Position

SunPlus Data Group is seeking two EHR Implementation Specialists to work on the Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation project for the State of Virginia in Richmond. This role involves designing, developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting the VADOC EHR system in compliance with established guidelines and standards. The position is expected to last at least 12 months with the possibility of extension, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, primarily on-site with one remote day.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, configuring, and supporting software implementation.
• 2 years of experience in EHR implementation and solution compliance with CTSU ALM guidelines (preferred).
• 4 years of experience assisting with software design documents and diagrams.
• 4 years of experience with agile development methodologies.
• 3 years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management methodology.
• 1 year of experience documenting workflow for healthcare standards/implementation.

Nice To Haves

• A college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field (desired).
• Direct experience with system/technical configuration (required).
• Experience in healthcare or electronic healthcare technology (highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, implement, and support the VADOC Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation.
• Provide technical leadership, estimates, training, and guidance to staff.
• Assist with software design documents and diagrams.
• Document various workflow processes based on health standards and implementations.
• Customize, evaluate, configure, analyze, and document the VADOC EHR system and business workflows.
