About The Position

Under the minimal direction, this position will be responsible for the implementation, optimization, and support of these Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms, ensuring seamless clinical and administrative operations. This position will collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to assess needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient workflows. This role requires independent responsibility, discretion, and decision-making on critical tasks, with minimal oversight. It involves prioritizing tasks, managing time efficiently, and consistently meeting deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Epic and/or Meditech EHR systems.
  • Proven track record of implementing and optimizing EHR systems.
  • Experience in healthcare workflows, clinical operations, and administrative processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clinical staff and IT teams.
  • Experience in system configuration, data integration, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understands hospital business operations and structure, general requirements in an integrated delivery system, and use of IT applications in the practicing healthcare environment.
  • Open to travel when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Epic Certification in at least one module (e.g., ClinDoc, Ambulatory, Orders).
  • Meditech Certification.
