About The Position

As an EH&S Sr. Analyst with Raytheon’s El Segundo, CA EH&S team, you’ll be involved in developing and administering EH&S plans, procedures and programs. In addition, you’ll use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence internal and external groups including engineers, factory line employees and management. Under the guidance of the EH&S Manager and senior team members your responsibilities will include:

Requirements

  • Typically Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience with either data analysis or root cause / corrective actions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing ergonomic and IH programs.
  • Experience developing and executing RCCAs
  • Experienced conducting and/or developing creative EH&S training.
  • Ability to handle potentially stressful situations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, but will not hesitate to seek additional information from supervisors or peers so tasks can be completed in a timely and accurate manner

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of EHS programs relating to safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental safety.
  • Assist with the day-to-day coordination and documentation of EH&S programs to help maintain a safe and compliant workplace
  • Support safety awareness initiatives, employee training activities, and workplace programs focused on injury prevention and environmental responsibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support consistent EH&S practices across departments
  • Receive hands-on training to assist with routine site inspections and industrial hygiene surveys.
  • Support the collection and review of basic safety performance data to help identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Participate as an EH&S team member for assigned buildings or functional safety groups
  • Assist with incident and injury investigations, including documentation, corrective action tracking, and follow-up, with guidance from experienced EH&S staff
  • Contribute to EH&S improvement projects and initiatives designed to strengthen safety culture and continuous improvement
  • Assist with emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response planning
  • Provide general support for site EH&S activities, including safety and environmental compliance tasks, as assigned
  • Assist with preparation for internal and external audits such as Cal VPP, AS9100, and internal company assessments, under supervision
  • Limited travel (approximately 10%) may be required to support site or enterprise initiatives
