Responsibilities

Inspects the facility to identify safety, health and environmental risks
Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections
Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the facility
Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, weekly safety talks, OSHA mandated training, and other relevant topics
Monitors compliance with safety procedures
Ensures that all safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
Works with Cornerstone Environmental to prepare Tier II reporting requirements
Maintains SPCC and SWPPP as well as local ordinance for air pollution and HMPC policy.
Works with state and local authorities to ensure that facility is following all required regulations.
Ensures compliance with required number of Near Misses, Observations and CAPA’s.
Manages and reports all injuries and first aids to ESIS and GDC.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Responsible for maintaining the Food Safety Program (GMP)
