Under the supervision and direction of the school administration, teaches a solid foundation for specified industry.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience minimum required.
Must meet the CTE credentialing requirements of the Colorado Community College System Office. This includes having 4,000 documented paid hours of industry experience within the last 7 years (or 5 if in healthcare) in the program field in which teaching and appropriate industry licensure, certificates, or technical training, OR 2,000 documented paid hours of industry experience and a Bachelor's degree with appropriate industry licensure, certificates, or technical training in the program field where they'll be teaching.
Exceptions to these criteria are considered per the guidelines of the CCCS credentialing requirements.
Five (5) years experience in a related occupation within the preceding 10 years
Broad knowledge of techniques and practices used in the related industry or subject area
Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.

Responsibilities
Teaches assigned courses to adults and postsecondary education option students (PSEO) ages 17 and older aligned with standards and requirements outlined in the individual course syllabi and program approval
Writes unit lesson plans, daily lesson plans and various written and performance assessments, as directed
Maintains program compliance with program approval
Maintains appropriate inventory for all program equipment materials and supplies
Maintains and accurately reports all student grades using appropriate software systems used by the school; maintain all student records, takes daily attendance, and performs other related administrative tasks
Attends and participates in faculty, departmental, advisory committee and other professional meetings; participate in professional development activities
