About The Position

Provides routine and non-routine maintenance of Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) and is responsible for supporting the operation of gaming machine vendors’ hardware, software, computer systems, and peripherals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general educational degree (GED) required.
  • One-year technical gaming/casino experience or combination of education and experience required.
  • Must be able to obtain gaming license.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, vendors, managers, and customers.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must maintain professional behavior and possess exceptional customer and employee service skills at all times.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, vendors, managers, and customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with all aspects of electronic gaming machine technology and proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with the management at different sites to perform electronic gaming machine installations, removals, moves, and configuration change procedures.
  • Follows gaming department standard operating procedures to execute repairs on EGMs, including clearing peripheral device tilts, bill validators, ticket printers, slot handles, mechanical reels, touch screens, bonus wheels, player tracking equipment, etc.
  • Calibrates, repairs, and/or replaces peripheral devices.
  • Replaces fluorescent and incandescent light bulbs, LED Boards, and other machine lighting equipment.
  • Performs preventive maintenance of electronic gaming machines.
  • Responsible for supporting the system needs of the individual operating departments ensuring a maximum level of service and user satisfaction.
  • Provide end user training and support where required.
  • Responsible for end user support of all property gaming applications, including gaming systems and any third-party vendor applications.
  • Must be able to work around other departments schedules and may need to report to work early and/or on weekends/nights.
  • Reports on assignments and daily activities.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all guests.
  • Assists customers in understanding game payouts, mechanics, and common play strategies.
  • Secures company gaming assets and property.
  • Maintains consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or administrator.
