The EFR Remediation Technician is responsible for scheduling, performing, documenting, and supporting mobile Enhanced Fluid Recovery (EFR) and Air Sparge (AS) events at active remediation sites. This is a hands-on, field-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys equipment operation, environmental fieldwork, and working independently while maintaining strong communication with project teams and clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining Tasman’s owned, rented, and leased remediation equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 1–2 years of environmental remediation equipment operation & maintenance experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and annual 8-hour refresher
  • Strong safety mindset with hazard recognition skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification with up-to-date 8-hour refresher
  • Current CDL license
  • 2+ years of remediation equipment experience

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate mobile EFR / AS remedial events
  • Distribute approved schedules to client teams and stakeholders
  • Mobilize and demobilize equipment at one or more remediation sites daily
  • Operate remediation equipment during EFR / AS events
  • Collect and record operational parameters and performance data
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-event equipment inspections
  • Maintain, clean, and organize equipment
  • Provide clear documentation to project teams following each event
  • Transport and properly dispose of recovered waste at approved facilities
  • Submit waste manifests and related documentation to clients and supervisors
  • Coordinate and document routine equipment maintenance
  • Provide maintenance records to Tasman’s Fleet Team
  • Collect environmental samples (groundwater, vapor, etc.)
  • Calibrate and operate remediation monitoring equipment
  • Identify operational changes such as vibration shifts, noise variations, or performance issues
  • Summarize daily event outcomes and provide high-level recommendations when appropriate
