Raytheon's Effector Power and Analog Design (EPAD) Team is looking for an Electrical Engineer with education and experience in performing circuit card testing and troubleshooting to the component level utilizing schematics and test equipment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures.
  • Experience troubleshooting circuit cards at the component level.
  • Experience with using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience performing engineering tests such as ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure), DVT (Design Verification Test), and DMV (Design Margin Verification).
  • Knowledge of programmable electronic parts including microcontrollers and FPGAs.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills as well as strong written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications.
  • Apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to determine faulty products for design, workmanship, environmental, and/or component defects on complex electronics.
  • Work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of integration and test validation activities within the Labs.
  • Develop and execute innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools, and techniques.
