Requirements

• Must have basic math skills and able to communicate in English.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year experience in food service experience in hospitality or healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, set up, serving and sales of food and beverage in the cafe.
• Operate cash register.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, front of house equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Keep Room Service cold side stocked, cleaned, and organized.
• Prepare cold food and beverages according to recipe and production needs.
• Take inventory of nursing pantries, prepare and assemble and stock bulk nourishments; rotate, clean and sanitize following HACCP guidelines.
• Maintain daily accuracy in documentation for billing.
• Serve food on tray line, record temperatures for required items.
• Maintain condition and cleaning of floors, dishroom equipment, potsink, work station and equipment used in performance of all duties.
• Empty department trash cans and remove trash to the dock for compacting and placement in appropriate containers.
• Drain and clean dish machine at designated times.
• Set up café food stations at each meal in a timely manner.
