About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic EEG Technician to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to run diagnostic tests to assist doctors with their diagnoses. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner. HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is a 288-bed facility. We are located in the heart of Ocala, Florida. Our hospital is a part of Ocala Health. We are home to Florida West Marion Hospital, HCA Florida Summerfield Emergency, HCA Florida Maricamp Emergency and HCA Florida Trailwinds Village Emergency. Our facility is a Level II Trauma Center. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
BLS at hire required
A minimum of one year experience preferred

Nice To Haves

National Certification for EEG Preferred
Completion of an accredited school for Neuro-diagnostics strongly preferred
Applicable work experience and clinical competency may substitute for education

Responsibilities

Preparation of EEG and administration of EEG exams.
Post exam duties:â Accurately processes and files EEG reports.
Accurately and efficiently processes EEG.
