The EEG Technologist conducts testing in the outpatient, inpatient hospital or operating room environment, documents results and reports findings to designated physicians. Primarily responsible for performing polysomnography recordings on all age groups. Prep and attach electrodes and other measuring devices. Calibrate computers and other measuring devices. Obtain an error and artifact free PSG under the guidance of a RPSGT. Perform a Multiple Sleep Latency Test and Maintenance of Wakefulness Testing, under the guidance of a RPSGT. Score a PSG, MSLT, and MWT, under the guidance of a RPSGT.
