Prepares and conducts various electroencephalographic examinations, basic EEGs, extended epilepsy monitoring, extended monitoring, and evoke potentials. Conducts various electroencephalographic examinations and collects information pertinent to the interpretation of the test. Evaluates the function and provision of services to patients by use of equipment, effective communication skills within and between departments, and close coordination with the department Director, Medical Director, and Medical Staff. Ensures methods of compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC), Medicare Conditions of Participation, and other regulatory and practice standards. Provides care to patients along the age continuum, and provides care based on age-appropriate interventions.
