About The Position

Perform diagnostic electroencephalograph (EEG) testing. Review patient's record and instructs patients prior to procedures. Monitor patient during procedures and reports any abnormal findings. Identify and correct for artifacts. Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Electroencephalographic Technician credentialed from the ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation (ABRET) preferred.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare experience required, preferably in EEG/Neurodiagnostics field
• OR experience as PCT, Lab Tech, EKG Tech, or other healthcare position that involves work with patients is acceptable.
