Requirements

• Post-secondary training or college education in a science or health related field (LPN, CST, MOA, Paramedic, EMT, etc.).
• Previous experience in Electroencephalography or an allied health care/life sciences field.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Follows proper policy and procedure for initiation of testing, patient history, electrode placement, test completion, reporting, and equipment disinfection.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to patient’s medical problems and physiological events especially seizures.
• Maintains effective and efficient use of chemicals, reagents, and other materials.
• Follows safety procedures and guidelines; reports unsafe practices or conditions.
• Maintains inventory of supplies.
