About The Position

This is a PRN position that could vary with days, includes weekends, hours of 8a-4p. If the weekend is on call, hours are reflective of the number of STAT EEG orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry Level
• None.
• BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a one-year school of Electroencephalography preferred.
• One (1) year experience as in EEG Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs various EEGs, producing acceptable recording in order to evaluate the patient'scondition.
• Performs procedure according to departmental standard of care.; calibrates equipment,makes appropriate markings and head measurement
• Understands the medical implications for electroencephalography.
• Recognizes abnormal test results, abnormal conditions that can be simulated by testperformances, and causes.
• Performs administrative duties related to EEG procedures.
