When you join our EEG Monitor Technician team, you will be part of a team in charge of all patient's requiring neuro monitoring within the facility. Monitor Tech's are required to watch neuro rhythms for abnormalities and alarms. They are also responsible for escalating changes, recognizing dangerous rhythms and notifying the healthcare team. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 7:00pm-7:30am This will include rotating weekends and holidays. University Medical Center Phoenix is a nationally recognized academic medical center. Additionally, the campus responsibilities include fully integrated multi-specialty and sub-specialty clinics. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for continuous observation of inpatient video and EEG recording for an uninterrupted clean recording and for reporting pertinent changes and abnormalities to the appropriate clinical staff. This position also maintains logs of activity and changes or behaviors in accordance with facility standards. This position responds to patient events and ensures patient safety.
