About The Position

The educator is a competent, licensed practical nurse or practical nurse who delivers education to employees utilizing the nursing process. They are able to provide education through a variety of methods, to include but not limited to: bedside training, in-services, classroom presentations and skill labs. They have working knowledge of LPN and RN scope of practices, up to date evidence-based practices and clinical skill sets. They are able to assist in maintaining employee education files and data entry. Able to assist in the assessment, development, delivery and evaluation of employment education with the Education department staff.

Requirements

• Certificate of Applied Science, required.
• Two years related experience or similar experience is required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse or Practical Nurse in the State of Montana.

Nice To Haves

• Associate of Science, preferred.
• Experience as an educator or adjunct educator, preferred.
• Experience as a preceptor to other staff members, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education to employees utilizing the nursing process.
• Provide education through bedside training, in-services, classroom presentations, and skill labs.
• Maintain employee education files and data entry.
• Assist in the assessment, development, delivery, and evaluation of employment education.
