About The Position

The Teacher of the Visually Impaired position at Onslow County Schools is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with visual impairments. This role requires a current NC Teaching License in the field of visual impairment and a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field of study. The teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs tailored to the needs of visually impaired students, ensuring they receive the support necessary to thrive in their educational environment. Knowledge of the IEP process and experience working with students with special needs are essential for this position.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with visual impairments.
