About The Position
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside. The Educator-Nursing position provides in-depth knowledge and demonstration of technical skills pertinent to nursing and the specialty area of practice. The position is used to promote education and development of the direct care providers to enhance the quality of care to patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required. Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice plus 3 years clinical experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
- Four years of staff nurse or healthcare experience is required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
- Specialty certification is preferred.
