About The Position

The Educator-Communication Sciences & Disorders supports undergraduate and graduate level teaching within the School of Allied Health. The hourly rate of pay will be determined commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. The role also involves performing other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or Doctor of Audiology required
  • Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations
  • Able to effectively communicate changes and instructions in a professional, effective and positive manner
  • Able to read
  • Able to write legibly
  • Able to speak in English with professional quality
  • Able to use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Able to communicate effectively on the telephone
  • Able to think critically
  • Able to manage multiple assignments effectively
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
  • Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
  • Speech Language Pathologist Professional License and Speech-Language Hearing Association Certification OR Audiology Professional License and American Speech-Language Hearing Certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Doctor of Audiology preferred

Responsibilities
