The Department of Juvenile Justice is seeking a candidate that is passionate about providing technical and career services to the youth in our care. The ideal individual for this position will have a desire to provide educational and occupational instruction in all career and technical areas including but not limited to: Building Trades, Computer Skills, Culinary Arts, Horticulture, Landscaping, and other areas that apply to this area of the School District. The individual who fills this capacity will teach vocational subject matter theory and provide information using standard professional educator skills by instructing students in the above areas. The selected candidate will also prepare and maintain Individualized Educational Plans (IEP’s) while providing rehabilitation and daily living/prevocational skills to youth with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
