About The Position

The Educational Technology Integrator (EdTech Integrator) plays a crucial role in enhancing student learning and assessment by integrating digital tools and resources into instructional activities within K-12 education. This position collaborates with teachers, administrators, and division leaders to provide differentiated support and develop professional learning opportunities, ensuring equitable access to technology for all students and staff. The EdTech Integrator also promotes digital citizenship and cultural understanding while modeling effective technology use in the classroom.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Collegiate Professional license with the appropriate level endorsement.
  • Minimum of three years of recent successful teaching experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with adult learners.
  • Experience in professional development and conducting technology workshops.
  • Knowledge of the Virginia Computer/Technology Standards.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum alignment and instructional design.
  • Ability to model digital assessment and data-analysis best practices.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with G Suite for Education, Chrome OS, and Student Information Systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Richmond Public Schools Priority Online Resources.
  • Knowledge of SMART Learning Suite and content-specific online resources.
  • Experience with Clever.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with teachers and administrators to select and integrate digital tools into instructional activities.
  • Differentiates support to meet staff needs through modeling and implementing technology-enhanced learning experiences.
  • Contributes to the development and execution of professional development throughout the division.
  • Assists in building leadership in technology decision-making and professional development planning.
  • Partners with stakeholders in the school improvement planning process.
  • Trains teachers in online and blended learning, digital content, and digital citizenship.
  • Supports a variety of digital tools and resources for teacher and student use.
  • Promotes the use of digital collaboration tools for communication with the community.
  • Provides professional development on new curricula and technology initiatives.
  • Develops and facilitates online professional learning experiences for staff.
  • Models strategies for achieving equitable access to digital tools and resources.
  • Assumes responsibility for own professional growth and development.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $58,674 to $109,165 per year.
