About The Position

LEARN, Southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, invites candidates to apply for Intervention Specialist openings at our Regional Multicultural Magnet School, Marine Science Magnet High School, Ocean Avenue LEARNing Academy, and LEARN Transition Academy. Requirements

• Earned a secondary school diploma, or its equivalent.
• Must have earned a Bachelor's Degree (or higher), OR Achieve at least a score of 457 on the ETS ParaPro Assessment.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children or adolescents in school or educational settings preferred.
• Skilled in data collection practices.
• Experience working with children with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with students 1:1 or small group across various aspects of the school day.
• Participating in professional growth activities.
• Communicate student progress with teachers, BCBA and related service providers.
