About The Position

LEARN, Southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, invites candidates to apply for a part-time Associate Instructor opening for the Before and After School Program (Magnet Kingdom) at our Regional Multicultural Magnet School in New London, Connecticut. The Associate Instructor will lead recreational and enrichment activities for specific grades, as well as offer homework assistance. This position is approximately 17.5 hours per week (early morning and late afternoon hours), Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Child Development Associate Certification (CDA) or willingness to obtain a CDA.
• Associate's degree or higher in child development or related field recommended.
• Experience working in early childhood environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead recreational and enrichment activities for specific grades.
• Offer homework assistance.
