About The Position
The Diagnostician (IDEA-B) is responsible for implementing the special education assessment process. This role involves assessing the educational, learning styles, and program needs of students referred to special education services. The diagnostician will provide diagnostic information and collaborate with instructional personnel to ensure the most appropriate programs are in place for students with disabilities. Funded by IDEA-B, the primary purpose of this position is to provide special education students and related services designed to meet their unique needs and prepare them for further education, employment, and independent living.
