About The Position
The Ripley-Ohio-Dearborn (ROD) Special Education Cooperative has an opening for a Special Education Teacher to serve as an Itinerant teacher to Nonpublic schools and Educational Consultant for the Cooperative to start the 2025-2026 school year. As an Itinerant Teacher, the Special Educator will work with students and staff at the nonpublic schools of St. John, FIAT Academy, St. Lawrence, and Homeschooled students. The Itinerant Teacher consults and interacts with school administrators, teachers, and parents on academic remediation as well as provides direct intervention to elementary and middle school aged students with disabilities. As an Educational Consultant, the Special Educator serves as a Multidisciplinary team member conducting the academic achievement portions of Special Education Evaluations and provides consultation services to member schools to assist with Special Education programming.
