About The Position

Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the following position for the 2025-2026 school year: Location: Parkside Elementary Position: Educational Assistant Hours: 8 hours per day Calendar: 182 days per year (August-June) Vision We Are GP! Requirements

Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Also, one of the following options: Two years of college study. An associate’s or higher degree. A passing score on the District reading, writing, and math assessment.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Knowledge of and experience with computers.
Knowledge of business English, spelling and mathematics; some knowledge of office practices and procedures; type at a working rate speed.
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees and ability to get along well with students.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.

Benefits

$16.15-$23.32 per hour. Dependent on approved accepted experience/education.
Annual COLA pay increase (as negotiated with Oregon Association of Classified Employees).

Longevity Service Stipend after 10 years of employment ($1,000-$1,600 )
