About The Position
The position involves monitoring students during various phases of the school day, providing assistance in toileting, feeding, eating, and personal hygiene. The role supports educational efforts in both the Special Education classroom and general education classroom as needed. Administrative tasks such as maintaining attendance records, filing, scheduling, and reviewing assignments are also part of the responsibilities. The individual will work with students according to plans developed by specialists and educators, participate in Parent Teacher conferences, and prepare instructional materials related to classroom lessons.
