About The Position
Grove City College's Department of Education invites applications for a full-time assistant/associate professor of Education beginning in July 2025. A Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Education is required. The Education Department seeks dedicated professors who can demonstrate how they integrate their Christian faith into their practice to prepare our students for teaching positions in public, Christian, classical, and international school settings. Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in PreK-12 settings as well as successful teaching at the undergraduate level. Special education and/or K-12 administrative leadership is preferred. Grove City College's Education program houses seventeen distinct PDE-approved teacher preparation programs spanning PreK-12 areas, enrolling over 265 students. The Education Department utilizes a professional development school model of teacher preparation with a heavy emphasis on ongoing fieldwork throughout the freshmen-senior experience. The Department also houses a variety of campus resources, including a preschool, curriculum library, and specialized services for career development for education majors.
