About The Position

2026 ESY - ESP (40 Positions Total - K-8) (Contingent upon enrollment) Qualifications (Required): High School Diploma Ability to relate/communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators. Qualifications (Preferred): Experience working in the Malden Public Schools. Working with young children in a school setting. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Program staff plan for students on IEP’s. Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records. Help teachers with keeping folders/portfolios with student work. Perform other related activities as required by the program coordinator. Duration: Program Administration and Implementation 103 hours total to include the following: Professional In-service Days (Date TBD 3 hours). 20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 1– August 1 (7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.). Stipend: $25 an hour, $2,575 total (20 days/5 hrs + 1 inservice at 3 hours) Funding Source: Special Education To Apply: Apply formally on School Spring.
