About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Education Specialist Teacher passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and helping students reach their full potential, to join our team in Los Angeles, CA for the 2025-2026 school year! Position Overview: Deliver specialized instruction and support to approximately 20 upper elementary students enrolled in special education programs across two school sites. Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet student goals, utilizing data-driven strategies to foster academic and social-emotional growth, to ensure all mandated timelines are met. Partner with staff and parents across both school communities to coordinate lesson plans and program services, ensuring curriculum continuity for every learner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential with a Mild / Moderate Authorization
- Prior experience teaching and supporting upper elementary students (Grades 3-5)
- Strong organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload across a multi-site school environment
Responsibilities
