Teach with Purpose: At KIPP Public Schools Northern California, our Education Specialists ensure that every student’s unique strengths are recognized, supported, and celebrated. You will design and/or co-design engaging, differentiated lessons, use data to guide instruction, and create inclusive classrooms where all students can learn and thrive. You’ll also integrate Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices to build a joyful, safe, and affirming community. Collaborate and Grow: You’ll work closely with your school’s Leadership Team—including your Instructional Coach—and partner with general education teachers and service providers to ensure all students receive the support they need. Through weekly meetings, coaching, and professional learning, you’ll receive the support and feedback to grow as both an educator and advocate. Commit to Equity and Anti-Racism: We are committed to building an anti-racist and inclusive school community. Our teachers engage in ongoing reflection on identity, equity, and systemic impact, and we collectively examine our practices, data, and culture to ensure our schools serve every student with excellence and dignity. About KIPP Public Schools Northern California We are a thriving nonprofit network of free, public charter schools open to all students. At KIPP, we believe all children should grow up free to create the future they want for themselves and that schools can and should be a critical factor in making that vision a reality. Together with families and communities, we create joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students with the skills and confidence to pursue the paths they choose—college, career, and beyond—so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world. Our 7,000+ elementary, middle, and high school students across East Palo Alto, Oakland, San Francisco, San Lorenzo, San Jose, Redwood City, and Stockton represent the rich diversity of our region: 79% qualify for free or reduced price lunch, 23% are multilingual learners, and 10% receive special education services. We strive to build a team of educators whose backgrounds and experiences reflect those of our students and families.
