About The Position

The Registered Nurse is responsible for direct and indirect nursing care, health maintenance, teaching, counseling, planning, and restoration for optimal functioning and comfort of patients. This role functions as a healthcare team leader, ensuring the safe delivery of patient-centered, goal-oriented care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• BSN required; Master's preferred.
• ACLS certification required.
• CPR instructor certification within one year.
• Specialty certification within two years.
• Minimum of five years current expertise in clinical practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and dependability.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical Educator experience preferred.
• Five years of Critical Care experience preferred.
• Teaching experience required.
• Computer and audio-visual skills.
• Arrhythmia trained.
• Progressive Neuro or Neuro trained.
