About The Position
Under the direction of the Education Administrator I of the Focused Monitoring and Technical Assistance III (FMTA III) Unit, the Education Programs Consultant works independently providing technical assistance and monitoring special education compliance in assigned areas as required and consistent with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The FMTA III Unit is responsible for completing local educational agency (LEA) monitoring reviews of both compliance and performance indicators. Travel may be required.
