The Education Program Manager manages and coordinates the nursing education program approval process for registered nurse and practical nurse education programs in Virginia for the Board of Nursing, ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations. Oversight includes participating in and overseeing on-site visits throughout the State, managing assigned education program application review process, coordinating the test review process and participating in probable cause review of complaint investigations of education programs. Serves as a consultant on education and nursing practice issues. Supervises P-14 (wage) professional staff who assist with the on-site review of education programs.
