About The Position

Requirements

  • Associates degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an academic and/or healthcare field required OR a bachelor's degree.
  • Prior experience at Mayo Clinic providing academic program management preferred.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting demonstrating strong leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven organizational and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze information to ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
  • Ability to provide budget oversight and management.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong independent decision-making and judgment skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to develop timelines and shift priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of one or more residency/fellowship training programs.
  • Assist in supervision and provide direction to trainees in accordance with MSGME and accrediting organizations.
  • Oversee the coordination of recruitment, orientation, and graduation processes.
  • Facilitate the evaluation process and maintain documentation for program accreditation.
  • Provide ongoing information about changes in internal and external educational initiatives.
  • Support ongoing program quality assurance initiatives.
