This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time Education Program Assistant 1 position for the Division of Extension and Engagement's Extension Clatsop County Office with Oregon State University (OSU). This Education Program Assistant 1 (EPA1) position is based at the Oregon State University Division of Extension and Engagement's (division) Extension Service Clatsop County Office and will serve Clatsop County. This 4-H EPA1 is a member of the regional and statewide team of the OSU Extension 4-H Youth Development Program. This EPA1 works as a team member to plan and conduct activities that bring 4-H youth development to the community. This position has regular contact with the public to promote awareness and interest in 4-H programs, and engage the public as volunteers, participants, and partners. The 4-H Education Program Assistant (EPA1) position collaborates with, and supports the efforts of, the 4-H faculty and program staff. This includes organizing and/or supporting specific 4-H events and training programs, providing office assistance to clientele, maintaining records and documentation (both physical and digital) of clubs, leaders and members involved in the 4-H program in Clatsop County, assisting with recruitment of members and volunteers, maintaining and carrying out the 4-H program in Clatsop County and other Extension programs as needed.
