About The Position
An Education Practicum Faculty serves as a liaison among the student teacher/administrative intern, cooperating teacher, local school leadership, and University personnel. An individual observes and evaluates local pre-service candidates for effective teaching practices and dispositions in early childhood, elementary, special education, or content-specific secondary, and administrative internship settings. An individual engages in various activities to ensure every student has the opportunity to put educational theories into practice, learn, progress, and achieve academic success. The candidate who is hired for this Education Practicum Supervisor position will be required to supervise in the Southern California area. This position may require onsite supervision and/or virtual supervision.
