About The Position

This position will be an integral part of multi-disciplinary design teams and will work under the direction of a licensed architect.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree Architecture, Urban Design or related field required.
• Must have 5 years’ experience in the following areas: Leading the design programming, development, modification & review of planning concepts & solutions for higher education design projects including drafting master plans.
• Utilizing Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, Qualtrics & Mirto to develop feasibility studies & space needs assessments.
• Assisting in development of architectural & planning concept drawings & specifications to translate planning concepts into project documentation for construction.
• Implementing integrated sustainable design solutions.
• Preparing architectural presentations for clients.
• Leading user group meetings to collect and refine program needs & assess space utilization.
• Communicate planning concepts to project teams & owners.
• Attending field site inspections.
