About The Position

Provide clerical, organizational, financial, and event support to assist the Education Foundation Coordinator in advancing the mission and initiatives of the Splendora ISD Education Foundation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with accuracy in work
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to learn and perform a variety of tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting logistics for the Coordinator and Board
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, presentations, and correspondence
  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems for grants, donors, sponsorships, and event records
  • Schedule meetings with district leaders, board members, sponsors, and community partners
  • Support planning and execution of Foundation events (e.g., Men Who Cook, Purse Bingo, Golf Tournament, Week of Giving, Readers Rise)
  • Coordinate volunteer sign-ups, assignments, and communication
  • Assist with event setup, check-in, and day-of logistics
  • Maintain event inventory (décor, signage, supplies, prizes)
  • Maintain donor and sponsor databases and recognition records
  • Assist with sponsor follow-up, recognition fulfillment, and event signage
  • Support donor correspondence, mailings, pledge tracking, and acknowledgments
  • Track educator grant applications, awards, and project documentation
  • Assist with Prize Patrol scheduling and logistics
  • Support scholarship application processing and committee communications
  • Maintain records and gather impact stories from grant and scholarship recipients
  • Support Payroll Giving, staff engagement programs, and campus-based initiatives
  • Assist with Foundation promotion at district events (Convocation, Open House, etc.)
  • Track expenses and assist with reconciling event budgets and receipts
  • Prepare documentation for deposits, sponsorship payments, and reimbursements
  • Maintain spreadsheets for donor tracking, grant disbursements, and event revenue
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual reports for the Foundation Board
