About The Position

Education Director Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually (Based on experience), plus Bonus/Commissions Schedule: Full Time & Year Round, M-F 8:00 - 6:00 core hours, also some weekends and holidays. Requirements

  • NY State teaching certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth-2) or Special Education (birth-2) required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Passionate leader with a deep understanding of early childhood development principles.
  • Strong classroom management skills, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced early childhood environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of School on administrative tasks, including staff scheduling, enrollment management, and student and staff compliance checks.
  • Support teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and educational activities effectively.
  • Provide guided tours to prospective families and answer questions about programming to encourage enrollment.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with parents through regular communication and participation in school events.
  • Provide guidance and support to teaching staff, demonstrating enthusiasm for positively impacting children's lives to include observing teaching staff and providing appropriate feedback.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
