The Education Director at Drew Hamilton Early Childhood Center will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all children achieve developmentally appropriate milestones through the implementation of evidence-based curricula, individualized support, and the creation of high-quality learning environments. The Education Director will work closely with the Deputy Director of Early Childhood, the Program Director, and the Central Early Childhood Leadership Team to oversee the educational support at the site, ensuring that the program aligns with the organization's mission, vision, and core values. In this role, the Education Director will provide strategic oversight by promoting the organization's mission and ensuring alignment with policies and procedures. They will lead and supervise all areas of the program, supporting staff, children, families, and partners. The Director will collaborate with parents on the Center Policy Committee to design and implement high-quality programming that meets the needs and interests of families. Additionally, they will set and communicate program goals, oversee the development and execution of strategic initiatives, and ensure effective governance practices in collaboration with key stakeholders. The Education Director will also be responsible for curriculum implementation and support, promoting high-quality teaching and learning in both center-based and home-based settings. They will develop strategies to differentiate instruction for diverse learners, oversee the integration of technology into the curriculum, and ensure alignment with state and national standards. Continuous quality improvement will be a focus, with the Director supporting educators in promoting high-quality teaching and learning, conducting classroom observations, and facilitating regular team meetings. Moreover, the Education Director will manage program design and administration, ensuring compliance with Early Childhood program policies and procedures. They will provide data analysis and reporting to enhance program outcomes and inform decision-making.
