About The Position

We are seeking an Education Coordinator to join our team at Regional West! As the Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of our staff and the community we are honored to serve. You will work closely with our staff to ensure that our programs are effective and serve patients and their families. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our organization is providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Skills: As the Education Coordinator, you will leverage expertise in educational program design, community outreach, employee development, curriculum planning, and public speaking to deliver impactful initiatives. Working closely with our team, you will play a vital role in advancing organizational excellence and ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare
  • Valid Driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in education preferred
  • Clinical experience as an EMT/LPN/RN
  • Experience in community outreach
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems
  • Experience with Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Debriefings.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and delivering New Employee Orientation and supporting Patient Services Orientation
  • Coordinate and administers Continuing Medical Education program
  • Manage the certification and recertification for staff in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and other certifications ensuring timely and accurate entry off all data into each employee profile
  • Development and implementation of new workshops, forums, seminars, and conferences for support departments
  • Lead and guide debriefing sessions to support staff following critical incidents, ensuring a supportive and structured process
  • Oversee the administration and functionality of the Learning Management System, including course setup, user management and reporting, to enhance learning outcomes to include tracking and reporting on course completion
  • Serve as the central coordinator for employee and community certification programs by managing invoices, administering certification cards, collecting payments, and assist with signing up for classes
  • Develop and implement workshops, forums, seminars, and conferences for support departments, including scheduling course calendars and ensuring full instructor coverage.
