The Education/Outreach Coordinator supports the mission of a Level I Trauma Center by planning, coordinating, and evaluating trauma education and community outreach initiatives. This role ensures compliance with ACS/State trauma standards related to professional education, injury prevention, and public outreach. Responsibilities include coordinating trauma-related courses (e.g., ATLS, TNCC, TEAM), managing continuing education activities, supporting injury prevention programs, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining required documentation for verification and accreditation. The coordinator serves as a key liaison between the trauma program, hospital departments, EMS agencies, and the community to promote excellence in trauma care and prevention.
