Education Coordinator (RN - Registered Nurse) We are proudly Virginia owned and operated! We have an opportunity for a dynamic Full-Time Education Coordinator - RN - Registered Nurse to join our team! Other Benefits Include: Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Life Insurance Health Savings Account with Employer Match 401(K) with Employer Match Access to Earned Wages Daily Employee Assistance Program Paid License Renewal Fee As Education Coordinator (RN - Registered Nurse), you will: Direct and provide orientation for new employees Work with the clinical staff during orientation to ensure effective onboarding for Nurses and CNAs Coordinate, conduct and validate completion of competency checklist for all nursing staff upon hire, annually, and, as needed Conduct patient care rounds daily to assess educational and clinical needs of the nursing staff Assist in the development of the non-eLearning annual education plan for the center Be responsible to the implementation of the Center’s Infection Prevention and Control Program Come work in a safe environment and be part of a team that is driven by our mission: to provide peace of mind to those we care for: our patients, residents, families, and staff. Requirements

  • Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
  • Three years’ experience in long-term care with experience as a Nursing Leader
  • Exceptional clinical skills including IV Therapy
  • Solid understanding of federal and state regulations for long-term care
  • Have a functional knowledge of Excel

Responsibilities
