How you’ll contribute: The Education Coordinator functions under the general supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer and is considered part of the nursing management team. The Clinical Educator assumes responsibility for all activities related to assessment, coordination, planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs to patient care staff and collaborates with others to provide facility-wide programs. The Clinical Educator supports the development of the bedside care provider and fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced-based nursing practice and is instrumental in creating a professional nursing climate. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission of Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support. Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required. Additional requirements include: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a bedside care delivery Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
